I haven't been happy with any of the room emulation plugins I've tried.

I'm just looking for something to give the drums a little more reverb/ background/ space in the event that I'm limited on mics and can't have any room mics -or, the room mics suck, which is more often the case with me.

Any suggestions?

I know there's the Ocean Way thing, but that's kind of expensive -Is there a cheaper option out there?? I know there's the Bricasti stuff, too... I can't even remember all the ones I've tried, lets see: Something called "Elephant" (?), another one called "Panning Room", some others... have so many plugins...

Also, tried re-micing the drums close mic mix through my monitors and then blending in that signal, but was never happy with that.

Open to all recs.
