So I agreed to the trial and then went to my subscriptions to unsubscribe from the service, iOS always lets you finish out whatever youāve paid for or are entitled to until they disable the premium services. So I thought I was just gonna go ānope, unsubscribeā but then was surprised by the insane # of subscription tiers. It seems like they charge that gonzo $139 to all new users(& thatās not even the most expensive plan! They have one at $289 FOR THE EXACT SAMW SERVICE, wtf), but I simply chose the cheapest subscription tier for the exact same Unlimited Service & when it renews now it will be at that price. Very weird, feels very predatory towards their userbase but also very clumsily set up on their part. Might just be the Gwyneth Paltrow blurbs and reading voice, but this stinks of being a Goop scam. Almost positive Iāll cancel it, but if I forget, Iām covered.
Hereās a couple of pics of what Iām referencing.
