Dave and Buster's is basically a sport's bar, with video games. Not an arcade that caters mostly to adults.
Post Body

On Saturday, me and my Dad checked out Dave and Buster's. I don't recommend it.

Sure they had a lot of games, but the place was basically a sports bar. They had a bunch of tv's set to the same channel of some sports broadcaster, and they were all set so loud, you had to get right next to someone's ear just to be heard.

Then the place was filled with jocks. And it just made the place seem wrong. The air was brimming with testosterone. It wasn't cool. I've been in plenty of arcades, and they usually have a mellow vibe. This was not the case.

And forget about eating there. It was terrible to even try. We sat at the bar for 10-15 minutes, with the wait staff focusing singularly on one customer at a time. the waitress spent all that time, mostly running back and forth, to make one drink for a lady, and get her her tab. Just before dealing with us, she finally got some other customers their tab too. Right next to us, the entire time, a previous customers food sat there waiting for someone to clear it away. And the whole time we were there, I didn't see any of the staff go to the tables and tend to the customers that were their. Somehow, during the night, they got their food, but looking at everyone, they did not seem too pleased to be there.

Maybe other Dave and Buster's are good, but I'd steer clear of the one in Auburn. Just my thoughts.
