Ok sorry I had to post this again, but I've made it open to everyone this time.

Does anyone have any books they would like to recommend. Usually all I get suggestions for on Amazon are books similar to books I already bought.

I want something that will challenge me and make me think. Something raw and beautiful. Something written by people with a different mindset.

Usually I read mysteries, or some action (altered carbon), and transgressional (Chuck Palahniuk). But I would like to branch out and read stuff from other genres. I've never read a romance book, any coming of age books, and only 1 feminist book several years ago. Give me something I wouldn't usually read.

Literature is a good indicator of a person. Whenever I meet someone new or start talking to a woman one of the first things I ask is what they are reading.
