Post Body

I want to connect both an external hard drive AND a battery backup to the USB port. Both devices are self powered, both are recognized when plugged into the USB port. I first tried a self-powered USB 3.0 hub (A to A) but neither were recognized. I then tried a USB A to two A splitter cable and got the same, no joy. Why couldn't have Asustor have simply added a second USB port for this kind of situation?

Anybody found a way to overcome this obstacle? If so, please share how you were able to do it where both devices were recognized.

P. S. Using latest ADM release
