As the title says, I have never been really hyped by a potential WW2 setting for the franchise. In fact, I have always been supporting the idea that AC main storylines should remain in the "deep" past. Syndicate's industrial revolution was kind of already too close for me (even though I ended up quite enjoying the game).
But...
I am currently replaying the whole saga and I'm on Unity right now. I have just finished that little "out of servers" sequence taking place in occupied Paris, sequence that I totally forgot about with the years. And damn it, those 5 mins felt real good.
The atmosphere, the nazi's flags overlooking, the zeppelins, the projectors lights to avoid, the huge sirens yelling in the night...
I literally finished the mission and paused the game to write this. I now realize how awesome a (well designed) WW2 setting would actually be for the franchise.
What are your thoughts ?
