I realized I only played this game for the modern day story line because it CAME OUT in 2012 and I never really did anything with it.
Now I’m playing it, Connor and his story plus all the frontier stuff is ACTUALLY very enjoyable — the biggest damn problem with this game was throat-stuffing the player with American Revolution history. Damn historical Points that had to be attached for history’s sake really screws this game up.
Which is a shame because the period is so well documented there really wasn’t any reason to set in this timeframe to “learn about the time” 😂
