Playing in my first tournament in a few weeks help?

First order of business what faction should I dchoose I have Baratheon stark and martell -I’m most familiar with stark as I’ve played them the longest however I feel that they are some what weak rn - Baratheons are always a great pick however I don’t have heros 1 and won’t be able to get them in time most likely - house martell the problem I’ll face using them is that I only have 3 games under my belt with them so if I don’t figure them out come tourney time I might be screwed

How would you go about list building and how would you prepare for a tournament
