Would you like to be friends? I'm a hearing person and i've attempted to learn ASL going on 4 years now and i just can't seem to get past a certain point. What usually happens is i take private lessons from a hearing individual who is either a speech pathologist or interpreter and something happens (this time it was Covid) that prohibits me from continuing it and i lose the information i was taught. I belong to a deaf group in Waco but i've never actually hung out with them as i've always been afraid since i barely know anything. So i'm looking for fluent friends in ASL to communicate with and just be friends. It'd be neat if you lived in Texas but we can always video chat and sign that way. I guess i'm mainly looking for friends who also sign. I apologize if this isn't the forum for this or if i offended anyone. Please let me know if i need to post somewhere else or if i need to change wording. Thank you :)
