What should a fantasy religion based on Pre-Islamic Turkic beliefs look like?
Post Body

Hello All! So I'm a writer working on a story that is taking a lot of inspiration from the history of Eurasia around the year 1500, and with that there is a state based on the ottoman empire. I want to make a religion for this state that take no inspiration from Islam but rather from Pre-Islamic Turkic religious beliefs, but don't feel qualified in the subject to know what sources to take from and how to do it respectfully. any advice or info would be very much valued, thank you.
