In a routine eye test the Dr told me I would benefit from using reading glasses and gave me prescription. I've never had glasses before and have no idea what's good / bad / cheap / expensive etc.
Quick look online and first website I look at is smartbuyglasses .ch who seem to have frames starting at 25chf with free lenses.. Seems absolute bargain basement.. then I look at visilab .ch who have a store in my local centre commercial .. They start at nearer 300chf for frames and no mention of the lenses.
The no brainer says buy online. But am I missing something as a first timer? Should I go in store? Or go inshore to try on then buy online?
(My supplementary insurance will pay 500 bucks - it's more the principle - do I gain anything from going in store or am I just being switzerlanded?)
