How do you clean your floors - laminate and tile, products, magic?

Two kids, wife and dog. We generally leave shoes at the door and cleanup dog footprints. But I can't get my head around getting the floors "actually clean". Sure we go over regularly with the vacuum and zwiffer style wet mop thing.. But our feet / socks are always filthy. We have a mix of tile and laminate.

Yesterday I decided to deep clean and went over the whole place with a degreaser type liquid and then with a brand new mop, cleaned the whole place with a bleach solution. This morning after a couple of hours my socks are filthy again.

Is there a magic product? Is it just normal dust?
