Weapons acquisition permit / gun license
Post Body

I go shooting from time to time and just rent the equipment but thought I'd buy my own stuff and started looking into the paperwork. Find it little confusing.

I need an acquisition permit to buy a gun, fine.. I need that permit to buy ammunition, assuming I'm not directly using it at a range, fine.

Once I've bought it, the dealer registers it with the fed bureau that's it? Nothing more? It's assumed it's mine now and it's in my house or stored at the range? I don't need anything more to keep it home or say where it is?

I also don't see official info on storing stuff at home.. Some sites like SwissInfo talk about "keeping it securely stored", separate ammo and guns.. But are there official rules, type of safe or anything?
