Can anyone explain how is nothing a thing?
Post Body
my phylosophy teacher said that nothing is a thing, i just feel like saying that nothing is a thing is like saying that nobody is a person. Something and nothing are opposites by definition, if something is something, then it can no longer 'be' nothing, if something is, and you are saying that 'is', then it is implied that it is something, so the very question of 'what is nothing?' makes no cents to me as it is like asking 'Who is nobody?' or 'Where is nowhere?'. Can anyone explain?
