The title pretty much says it all, but here is background to my question. I have a few kids and thus a few vehicles. About six months ago a kid moved to the big city and won’t need a car…or doesn’t want to. So now I have a 2011 Toyota Highlander Limited AWD with 160k miles that I don’t need and would like to sell vs it sitting in my driveway. I have quote from Carvana and dealership to buy it from me for $8k. The dealership says “oh the market has softened in past 6 months” (thus to justify their lowball offer). I see comparable Highlanders retailing for $15l in my area (west coast NFL city); though I don’t really have the time or patience to sell retail myself. Btw the vehicle is in very good shape.
