so I recently financed a car after my old one had flooded out. It’s a 2015 Lexus GS 350 F sport. This was my first time having the whole car expense alone since my mother passed so I admit I made a fuck ton of mistakes. I’m currently paying $1099 for car insurance and the car note is $493. On top of this it needs a new transmission and there is a problem with the ABS system and parking brake system. I rushed into getting a car because at the time I had two jobs, and I knew that uber cost were gonna stack up extremely fast. I used my old car is a trade in ( 2013 Lexus ES 350 hybrid) and also put down a down payment of 5600. The radio also doesn’t work either. looking back I should’ve noticed a few red signs. Firstly, they only let me drive around the neighborhood and they were talking to me the whole time just hyping up the car so I didn’t really even get the chance to test anything. I do work a lot so I haven’t had the chance to go back to the actual dealership but I have tried calling and texting and they’re not responding to me. I just need to know if there’s anything I can do I’m only 20 and I’m still in school, working a part-time job making 17 an hour, I really can’t afford this and this has truly been a humbling experience. Please let me know if there’s anything that I can do. Thanks in advance.
