Yesterday on Black Friday I have Stuart come to the showroom. Stuart is there with his wife who is looking at the RAV4 prime SE we have in stock. One of 5 Rav4 primes we’ve had all year. Stuart refuses to work any deal. He demands the money factor and and residuals for a 36 and 48 month lease. Stuart says that will give him the information he needs to input this into his spreadsheet at home and get his payment options.
I offer to make it easier and show him his options in person while he is there.
Stuart scoffs at the offer. His spreadsheet will tell him everything he needs. Stuart says he has leased 10 cars in the last few years, He’s got this. He continues and states that if his calculation’s are good he will come back to get the rav4. Stuart says he trusts his spreadsheet more than some salesman.
I happen to look down and a spot the brightest, whitest, pair of New Balances I’ve ever seen in the wild.
