My parents bought this car brand new and barely drove it outside of shopping trips and the ocassional bi-yearly vacation. I got the car in 2016 and have been mostly good about general maintenance with fluid changes and check ups maybe totalling 5k since than on bigger fixes.
Well overall she still drives great despite some intermittent starting issues which i hope to get to the bottom of very soon. Ideally until I am able to save more money/economy somehow imporoves, I would love to get 3 years of life left out of this car. Is this possible with the right maintenance and driving schedfules? Despite being lightly driven, she is driven at least 1-3 times a week if not daily when I'm actively working or going around town. I live in an area where everything is within 5 miles, same went for where my parents live. I do really love this car and want to hold onto it for as long as possible since frankly all the extra techy stuff in newer cars I find too distracting for my ADHD brain.
Edit: Thank you to everyone that provided helpful responses. Iām happy to see a lot of love for these cars!! I will certainly keep taking the best care of it. My parents were on top of everything when it was with them. I do wish I could find a cheap car detailing place next though. She needs a carpet shampoo bad. To the those who mentioned the rust and transmission. Going to make sure I bring those up with the maintenance when I go in. Live in the PNW where it rains a lot now and she is parked outside under cover but still getting exposed plenty.
