Hi All,

I'm a driver and drive to get around the city. I've never once biked in the city, and other than my Peloton haven't been on a bike since my late teens probably. I have 2 main questions:

1-Does google maps actually give the quickest and safest route when you choose the biking option

2-I'll legitimately only be using the bike(at first at least) to be riding from the Junction to Liberty Village 3 times a week, so I don't need anything fancy...is there a good used bike place that I could hopefully get something reliable for a decent price? Somewhere that won't try to upsell me to something I don't need right now?
