Work day date: AGO?
Post Body

First off, thanks to the people of askTO for answering my last thread about going to visit Toronto Island. Great advice came from that. Thanks in advance here. Iā€™m new to downtown and want to make the most of the beautiful Fall weather.

So, I am wanting to go to the Art Gallery of Ontario for a mid day date with my ā€œfriendā€. I have a few hours of flexibility (2-3 easily). I am coming from First Canadian Place; she will be driving or taking public transit. Ideally she comes to pick me up and we drive there to save time and not have her spend an exorbitant amount on parking in the core. Otherwise, we can walk there together. I donā€™t want to just take public transit separately to get there to maximize time together. If the weather is good, like it is today, I may suggest that she takes transit to get to me, and we walk up.

I figure it will be a 20 min walk with a coffee stop too. Then, spend an 1.5 hours at the AGO, then find a quick lunch spot and make our way back. I donā€™t see any parks nearby but maybe we will walk further to queens park.

10:30,walk to AGO. 11 arrive after being caffeinated 12:30 leave to get a bite and go to queens park to hang out 1:30,leave to go back to FCP 2 go our separate ways

Any suggestions? I am concerned that I have condensed the schedule way too much and it isnā€™t feasible. We are looking to do something together that is personal/intimate (just us two for the most part) while being a public setting. Any suggestions other than the AGO?
