I was sorta thinking about history and whenever there were any aces in it. Clearly they wouldn't be called that because, you know, past was kinda wacky like that, but hey, I do think that you can guess that certain people might've been this or that. We can assume that certain people were gay or bi, so why not this, right?
I still think that Plato was gay, and that his sexism of women mostly stems from competing with them. But Socrates? I dunno man - he showed no desire for sex, there are no records of him fooling around, he had many friends who were women, he said that the purest form of love is "loving one's wisdom" and famously married his wife because she was a strong-minded person that disagreed with him and could do stuff while he was away. It really feels like he was just ace who saw no interest in physical pleasure but could still experience romantic feelings, to a varying degree, so why not?
Anyone that comes to your mind tho?
