I want to start getting into building robots and other cool stuff with arduino because I want to say I do something other than play video games all day. The only problem I keep coming back to is that I have no coding knowledge. Building is not an issue, I even plan on getting a 3D Printer for Christmas (speaking of which, what software for modeling robotics parts?) I just need to ask: how the heck do I code for a project? I have arduino IDE but I do not know how to actually code from scratch. I can recognize parts of code and edit variables as I have had some experience with a couple of languages, but I never figured out how people actually create code specific to certain parts and such. Maybe I’m thinking about it wrong, because I have heard lots about how important “borrowing” code is, so let me know. Sorry for the whole paragraph, just stressing over it. Thank you for any help you can provide!
