Some of you might remember a group of Apex Legends players (most notably users Xynoa and Skittles) who were caught cheating their way to the top of the predator leader boards, mainly through having 6 people join the same game as separate teams in order to support eachother and get unfair kills.

This caused a massive uproar in the community and eventually the devs responded saying something along the lines of "We know you want them banned, but we'll look into it and punish them accordingly."

But has anything even come out of that? Last I heard, Xynoa got demoted to bronze rank. But that doesn't really serve as much of a punishment as there isn't really any permanent punishment and he can easily work his way up to high ranks and start cheating again. I haven't heard anything about other cheaters in their group being banned.

Does anyone know if Xynoa or other players received any serious punishment, or did Respawn just say "we'll take care of it" only to barely do anything and hope people forget about the drama?
