But instead I was told they would review me again after the Christmas break and until then I would stay on as a casual. Guess what that means? No pay for the Christmas break and shut down period of the business for 2 weeks. If I had been made fulltime as I should have been (end of my 3 month probationary period) I would at least have the public holidays covered.
Their reasoning? They were not sure if they were confident enough to make me full time, so I need to work extra hard and maybe I'll get full time later.
I'm so sick of feeling like I owe a company for my employment, they pay me to be there I'm not in debt to them.
I'm Australian if that means anything.
