I have been very interested in looking to go to Antarctica probably not this year but the next.I was wondering if there is a preferred time to apply that more of the jobs are visible when looking at the different places on http://www.lockheedmartin.com/us/products/antarctic-support-contract/jobs-in-antarctica/visit-partners.html.
Last 4 years I have been working at Microsoft as a lab tech. I also have moved more to a programming position. I do see there are some computer techs required and was wondering what exactly those positions entailed and how likely you are to get a position.
I think it would be a great experience and be one of those things I fall in love with. So wanted to post here and get some more info.
