a friend of mine works for a large financial company that acquired his previous family owned company 2 years ago. this new place is run by a shadow board of sorts behind a private equity firm. now this is a private company as far as he knows, but the upper management will not post any financial reports, billing numbers, sales statistics, ect. is that normal for such a large (hundreds of millions a year) company would never post any of this info for employees? its been requested countless times, management claims they hear the request for transparency but the request is still ignored. is this good business practice?
