I understand everyone’s body will react differently so this is just my personal experience. I wanted to share my recent experience with tinctures, which I started about a week and a half ago. Discovering subliminal dosing has been a heaven sent for me, and I think it’s worth mentioning. I stumbled upon a couple of $69.99 tinctures on sale for $5 at a local smoke shop, so I picked them up. For context, edibles rarely work for me unless taken in large amounts, and even then, they take too long to kick in, making the effects unpredictable.

I’ve been experimenting with 1ml of tincture, mixing it with varying amounts of HHC, HHCO, and D9O using the subliminal method, and to be honest, I didn’t know what to expect at first.

I started slow with low doses around 20mg of HHC and gradually worked my way up to around 300mg. Initially, the effects weren’t as long-lasting or as strong as I’d hoped lasting maybe around 2-3 hours, and I experienced dizziness and nausea on an empty stomach. To avoid that, I started eating beforehand and blended 0.30g of HHCO with 0.30g of HHC in a syringe with 1ml of tincture. This combination gave me exactly what I was looking for at night: a more pronounced body high that lasted longer.

As I got more comfortable with my dosing, I added in my mods, which contain D9O. Since I can distinguish how my body reacts to different cannabinoids, I decided to add 0.30g of D9O to the tincture. This created a stimulating and euphoric experience that I was aiming for. Now, I’ve worked my way up to 0.65g of each cannabinoid mixed with 1ml of tincture and think I’ve found my sweet spot for mental and body effects. I no longer feel the need to redose every two hours, although I’ll admit, the temptation is still there!

For those wondering, I haven’t had the dreaded “green out” yet, but I’ve had some rough experiences with other substances. I’m sure if I hadn’t worked my way up to this dosage gradually, it might’ve happened. So, to all my fellow stoners: stay safe and be mindful of your limits. Heading out to see Terrifier 3 soon! 🫡✌️

Effects & Timing for 0.60g each of HHC, HHCO, D9O:

15-45 min: I feel a slight mental buzz. Vaping nicotine sharpens the buzz, while vaping the same cannabinoids spikes the effects, starting with mental stimulation and transitioning into a body high. Vaping alongside the tincture enhances its effects.

45 min - 2 hours: Gradual buildup of both body relaxation and mental stimulation. I’ve had slightly heightened emotions at lower doses, but they passed after some time. I typically enjoy music, gaming, or TV during this period. Also stretching is top notch with this dose.

2-4 hours: Around the 3.5-hour mark, I notice stable effects then a slow decrease, leaving me more relaxed than euphoric. This is when I might vape to enhance the remaining effects for euphoria and mental stimulation.

4-6 hours: By the 6-hour mark, the effects have mostly worn off leaving residual effects. This is when I either redose or call it a night.

I also recently learned that sublingual dosing offers about 10%-40% absorption of cannabinoids. If anyone can clarify this, I’d appreciate it! I’m not too worried about building tolerance, as I’d like to make this a nightly routine for both medical and therapeutic reasons. I’m also curious how other cannabinoids like the -B’s, -H’s, and -P’s would affect the experience. I do have some -P’s but I’m saving those for a special occasion.
