I got fired from my job this week because I'm homeless. I know this is a fact because my manager said so. She confronted me because she had mailed some paperwork to my so-called address. She had figured out that the address I gave was bogus. What other choice did I have? If I had told her I was homeless I wouldn't have gotten the job. Now I'm sleeping out in the woods, which I've been doing for a while, but I'm unemployed now and I have no idea how I'm going to get back on my feet without money. I'm so desperate and the homeless shelters are full of dangerous, psychotic and drug addicted people. I stayed at one of those places and saw something really horrible there. The only way I'll ever go back there is with a tag on my toe. I don't know how I'm going to fix this or if I ever will.
