ATM9 Performance issues

I started doing ATM9 and I am experiencing FPS drops (under 60-70) at 22 render distance w/o shaders and I would like to be able to max out render as I should even with shaders and still get over 100 frames. Same thing was happening when playing ATM8 but I later on blamed it on all the stuff that I had running plus chunks loaded but now on ATM9 the world is fresh and still having the performance drops. Only happens on moded not vanilla.

Any idea what could be causing the performance drop?

Specs:

13900k not OC

4090 Suprim X

32GB RAM OC to 6000mhz (10GB allocated to forge)

running on Java 17
