Hello guys. I just want to share the time my partner almost gave in to an indecent proposal. To give you a background, my partner is a real head-turner, men always say she is hot and classy despite her age of 43. To cut it short, she was one of those thousands affected by the pandemic.

She lost her job September last year and since struggled to keep up with bills though I am helping to keep her household afloat, I even moved in her house for economical reasons.

Going back to my OP, indecent proposals are not new. I can even read some of these but most are just cheap proposals, the ones you offer to a walker. Then one day, this was last February, she just posted a meme in her story with the context na “wag na lang flowers this valentines, kwarta na lang”. After a few hours, she received a text message. Note, it was an sms and not in socmed, meaning they could be more than socmed friends, pwedeng friend or colleague.

The guy txted and ask how much daw ang need niya, during this time I was beside her because she showed me the guy’s text, I told her jokingly to respond. She said she need 50k, then she ask who is he by the way since the number is not saved in her phone. As expected the guy did not exposed her identity but said she can give the 50k for a night with her. We sensed that the guy is really serious, and at this time we are really in a financial crisis so I told my partner to reply na pautangin na lang siya, no more no less. Then the guy declined and insist his offer and that he is really a long time admirer.

My partner did not reply but me, as a cautious guy, memorized the phone number so I was able to save it to my phone in hopes I can determine this person’s identity. First, I tried to send one peso in gcash but his phone is not registered. Then I checked viber, whatsapp and TG ,so he has all but no photos. His viber and whatsapp were already dormant however his TG is recently active.

A couple of days, I received a notif in my TG rhat my partner is now registered, I was able to sneak on her phone and I was surprised they are texting there. But my partner is still insiting na pautangin nlng kami. I observed a couple of days then I saw my partner’s last text is “available pa ba ang offer” however the guy didnt respond. That is also the last day his TG was seen active. So I think, it’s an almost.
