Silly question, but is there anything out there that talks about what the afterlife is like other than NDE's?

Post Body

I know this is a silly question since we just don't really know. But, there are a lot of afterlife beliefs that make me worried for what comes after. I recently found a folder I had made that is a compilation of all the different evidences that shows consciousness continues after we die. I believe that for sure (despite me saying kinda the opposite after my last post here).

But, what worried me is that a lot of people talk about the afterlife either being very boring, or borderline terrifying. I don't really like the idea or reincarnation (this just scares me), nor do I like the idea of merging into a single consciousness, or just existing as a ball of light or energy. For me, the perfect afterlife is one where I can do what I want and feel what I want.

If, for example, I wanted to live in the shire from Lord of The Rings, then I could. And if I wanted a change in scenery, then I could get that. What if I wanted to live in one of the worlds I write about or what if I want to live in any fantasy or sci fi world? I want to keep experiencing creating things, eating good food, playing fun games, sex, concerts, etc. I don't want to reincarnate to experience these things again, but I don't want to exist as a ball feeling a single emotion for eternity either. Again, I know that no one truly knows, but I just want to see if there is anything that discusses what the afterlife is like.
