Nung kabataan ko, I struggled with being overweight until my early 20s. Around the age of 25, I took decisive action and successfully shed a significant amount of weight, going from 104kg to 64kg. Pero with the onset of the pandemic, my work transitioned to a remote setting, and I regrettably reverted to old habits, neglecting my diet and exercise routine, so tumaba ako ng konti.
Nung last two months, I've been actively working to watch my diet and exercise more consistently. Pero I find it challenging to replicate the enthusiasm I once had for the positive outcomes of a healthy lifestyle, especially now na 29 na ako. While the pursuit of a desirable physical appearance used to be a significant motivation, particularly in the context of dating, the intricacies and stress associated with modern dating have led me to a preference for being single. Consequently, the importance of exercising solely for appearance doesnโt hold the same significance.
Kahit wala nang masyadong external motivators, I still desire to look good for my own well-being. However, mahirap mag maintain ng consistent na routine without external pressure. Curious lang ako to learn from those who are actively prioritizing their physical health โ what motivates you? Do you genuinely enjoy exercising, and how do you manage to stay consistent? I personally don't derive much enjoyment from exercising, pero ayokong tumaba ulet; that isn't proving motivation enough. I guess Iโm seeking inspiration and insights from others who may have found effective ways to stay committed to their health journey.
