With most people nowadays utilizing machines & AI Technology to do certain tasks, it is not impossible that someday they will replace human employees. Some fast foods now are using machines to take their customers’ order, AI tools/apps are being used to analyze & interpret data, create concepts & ideas, write speeches, produce music, art, & other graphic materials, etc.
I just thought about it; while it is cost-efficient for companies and business-owners to maximize the use of AI Technology, there are negative impacts from this such as:
The possibility of low-employment rate thus affecting our economy.
People being overly-dependent to AI that they become lazy and unmotivated to learn new skills.
Altered replication of someone’s craft— drawings, paintings, music, etc. with the actual artist not getting any compensation for people using derivatives of their art form.
Should it happen someday that advanced machines and AI Technology take over the industry you’re working in, what’s your back-up plan to ensure that you will still have an income/livelihood?
