Adhd and Audio Processing Disorder.

Anyone got this mix? I’m realising a lot of my adhd symptoms are also the same as APD. Any experiences? APD wasn’t really known about 25 years ago when I was diagnosed. Now I’m looking into it and feeling like a zing of “wow that’s me” I do know a lot of the symptoms correlate.

I went to an audiologist because my partner was telling me I wasn’t hearing him properly and I was finding after reflecting I struggle in the office, ears checked out fine and my audiologist suggested I look into APD. Since reading a lot about it I’m thinking have I possibly been mis diagnosed as a child with ADHD and it’s actually APD.

I could possibly have both as I find taking my medication helps me enough.

Any experiences with this? Where to from here?
