Good evening lovely people,
Im in the UK and have a scan tomorrow. The doctor who referred me didn't suggest any causes for my problems, but after researching online I suspect adeno might be a possibility. I'm not sure if I'll be seeing a specialist, or just having a scan and having the results passed on. Either way, is there anything I should ask? I plan on letting them know what I think might be the cause, but I've heard that it's hard to get a diagnosis so I'm worried I'll just be brushed off.
For context, I'm 32 and have had awful periods since I started menstruating. They have gotten way worse as I've got older. I'm also now unable to take any hormonal contraception for various reasons, so I'm getting desperate for something to help me! I'm completely useless for at least a week a month and it's really difficult 🙁
