I (20F) have been thinking about this for a while and I wanted other people's opinions. I have known I was asexual/demisexual for a while now but have just understood that I am attracted to women romantically. I started calling myself a lesbian for ease (because explaining the difference between sexual and romantic attraction usually takes too long) but people who have known me as asexual get confused because they assume that calling myself a lesbian means that there is a level of sexual attraction that comes along with that label. So - is lesbian an accurate label for an asexual person who is attracted to women in only a romantic way?
TLDR : Should I call myself a lesbian if I am only attracted to women romantically?
