RESOLUTION 141015a: Clarification of a Lord's Power in their Borough(s) and Throughout Commonwealth
SPONSOR: Aerda, Lord of Isenburg and Minister of Immigration and Settlement
WHEREAS: There is no official limit on where a Lord may act;
WHEREAS: There is technically no limit to what a Lord may do with their citizen's property, and livelyhood, let it be;
RESOLVED: That Lords may not take a citizen's property (items, plot) without notice, and the citizen must be notified when settling in that settlement of the rules the Lord of that settlement have set in place, either through a noticeboard in clear view that any citizen may look at, or by telling that player directly.
RESOLVED: That Lords may not act outside of their official jurisdiction as lords, and lords may not pearl or banish a citizen without proof of the citizen having broken a Commonwealth law, or being a clear danger to other citizens of Commonwealth.
RESOLVED: That Lords may not act as Ministers in Parliament or as the Prime Minister or King, without having been designated as one of those positions either through the regular Parliamentary elections, or, appointment by the King or Prime Minister.
I have edited it to clarify a bit more on the bits of this resolution that were confusing people or didn't make much sense. I submitted this as a separate resolution as it would have 'corrupted'/changed what I said if I had simply edited the post. Thanks for your time!
Voting has ended with 4 yays of the required 3 minimum. This law should be posted to the Commonwealth subreddit by the speaker.
