Hello everyone! I am fairly new to zilean, I played him occasionally on support (I only have mastery 4) I always loved playing him but I usually play jungle/top so I never really got to practice him a lot. Anyway I am moving my secondary to mid from top (I really hate playing top rn) and I decided to try and pick up zilean since I have already a bit of experience in playing him supp (and he is fun as hell). The problem is that I am really struggling to figure out how to play him. The real issue that I am having is to survive/farm during the early laning phase. I feel really helpless versus some mid laners level 1 to three, and I'm not sure how to use my bombs effectively to farm expecially level 1. For example I was facing a lucian mid. from level 1 I could not see how I could have farmed, if I had used my bomb to pick up cs I would have end up pushing the wave and with him already zoning me out of cs I thought it wouldnt have been a good choice. I tried to farm with aa but he was so strong in early trades that even if i landed my bomb he would just out trade me and poke me out of lane with his abilities. Also (maybe just cause I'm bat tho) I found really hard to farm/lane even after the third level having due to his high mobility and his ability to out trade me. Any tips on how to play this champ, how to farm and some insight on the matchups? I really appreciate any help ^{^} (Also I play with glacial augment, I find it useful for the slow that helps me land bombs and escape ganks, I usually build the hextech glp into twin shadows, I saw some pros on robuilds going this build and it seemed smart to me but maybe there are better options? As for the summs I always take tp and flash but I guess in some matchups (like lucian?) I should go barrier? Man I'm so confused XD)
