As I may or may not have alluded to in recent WoTC threads, I don't have super net speed. It's taken me three-ish days to download the new release. I left for work today, with around three hours to go, I set my computer to go to sleep after six, just for wiggle room.
When I returned home, I woke up my sleeping PC to find that the PC had gone to sleep with less than 30 minutes remaining, and at around 99/100%.. you know, that weird grey area Steam sometimes likes to hover in when you complete a download. At this time, my Windows also asked me to do a restart for some updates, which I figured would not be an issue, because Steam still had a half hour to go, I could start it back up.
Once I rebooted and logged in to Steam again, what do I see but "UPDATE CANCELLED" in my download manager, for XCOM 2. It tried to validate files, then began preallocating space and trying to download all 30.1GB over again.
The weird issue is, I have about 9.5GB worth of stuff in the WOTC folder on my Steam drive. Is there anything I can do to salvage this, or am I screwed?
