I work in a care home for adults with learning disabilities. I love my job and have been here nearly 2 years now, but there is one senior who has just always seemed to hate me for no apparent reason. I have done absolutely nothing to her, she’s been like this since she met me. She makes comments to me all day every day and assigns me the worst jobs every time we work together. I know I’m not being crazy because multiple other staff members have asked me about her constantly picking on me. I was told about 6 months ago by a different senior that our manager was going to talk to her about this issue, because I have done nothing wrong and he actually also said that I was one of the few people who actually does their job properly and isn’t lazy. However, she has not stopped harassing me and making up rules just so she can tell me I’m doing something wrong. I’m so sick of it and it’s really disheartening when I’m doing 13 hour days with no break and trying my hardest to look after these people and I’m just getting constantly berated for no reason. I am thinking about just telling my manager I can’t work with her anymore and to please just put me on opposite shifts because to be honest I do think this is bullying and I really can’t deal with it anymore. Any advice on what I should do?
