Can I reverse the update? Playing on Series S

Hi all -
Playing the backwards compatible version on Series S was great; while it was a tad dated, my little machine was able to process everything so easily and smoothly. Now, while the game looks awesome, there are some hiccups and stuttering when I’m in large crowds, a lot of activity, etc. is there anyway I could reverse back to the previous version? I’ll probably spring for the Series X at some point, but for now I’d like to play the former vision.

Yes so I’m not sure how it can be not as smooth. Haven’t tried it myself yet but from the footage I’ve seen it looked like a stable 60 everywhere but novigrad on the series s and even in novigrad it was dropping to 57-58fps which isn’t drastic.
Really hoping it runs okay, I’ve already waited long enough for this update lol.
