I'm sure others spotted this, but Fine just announced an upcoming slant that is identical in head geometry to that "Italian Barber" slant. I'm not a huge slant fan just for the sheer fact that I tend to get better shaves out of a regular bar but this might very well be interesting for a lot of people. It touts to be made from a very lightweight modern polymer so this very well could be a contender to those cool old bakelites that can't be had anymore. I'm encouraged that the price may be relatively low judging from how Fine has done things in the past. I might even have to pick one up. I'd be interested in some input from people that have one of the bakelite versions, how do you like them? How do they compare to other readily available slants?

Edit: According to the comments it looks like the whole thing is made from ABS plastic with a "UV hardened coating." Whatever that may mean.
