Tiny viking funeral boats
Here's a quick and easy app.
☆ 12 large jalapeños
☆ 1lb chorizo
☆ 8oz Philly cream cheese perferably the type with chives
☆ panko crumbs
Split the jalapeños lengthwise and remove seeds, set aside.
Cook the chorizo in a pan over medium heat, stirring frequently until done. Strain and put in a bowl.
Mix the cream cheese with the chorizo until uniform consistency and fill the jalapeños with it.
Top with panko crumbs.
Put on a cookie sheet and cook at 350 for 8 minutes then raise the temp to 375 and cook for another 6 minutes.
Serve.
I stumbled on this one somewhere online a year or so ago.
Just remember to really wash your hands/nails after removing the seeds. I made a ton of these for the 4th and woke myself from a dead sleep from scratching myself in a bad place. I do not recommend that particular experience.
Happy holidays everyone!
