Republicans of Spain, you have a responsibility to, if not the Worker's Front, than to your own people, to at least make an effort. The Spanish Worker's Front is a menagerie of political organizations and paramilitants, hardly a government, and they have succeeded at doing more to combat Reactionary Monarchism than you have.

This is not a smear; the Republic, after all, is the most legitimate government in Spain, the Monarchists being, well, themselves, and the SWF themselves having publicly acknowledged the legitimacy, even if it was through clenched teeth and a pained smile. And thanks to this alliance, we now have the king of Spain in our custody, awaiting trial.

So, then:

Why are we content to sit back? We, who have the most crack troops in the united front against the monarchists, have barely done anything, while the Worker's Front has driven the Monarchists out of the south of Spain, are making offensives in the North, and are already making moves which would improve the lives of those in their territory.

Are we not obligated to support them? They are certainly reds, syndicalists, all of them, but they are also our greatest ally in these times! How can we expect them to assist us in our times of need when we are not yet assisting them? Madrid is curiously close to Monarchist lines. There is certainly no way that we, acting alone, can defend it, should it indeed come to that. We will need the support of the Worker's Front, but will they support us, if we do not assist them? Will they even be capable of doing so, if they are cut off due to our inaction?

Alfonso is in Republican-SWF Custody, thanks to the combined operations of not just both Republic and Syndicalist operatives, but also the combined operations of a Republic and Syndicalist fleet! And would the Republic have been able to accomplish such a plan without the tacit support of the dockworkers of La Coruna, enraged as they are by the Monarchist atrocities against them? No! So how can we expect to defeat the Monarchists if we sit back and act independently? This is an appeal to all of the Republic!

Remember the Asturias Baptisms! Remember the La Rambla Massacre! They did it to Syndicalists, and they will do it to Republicans, too! And they will do it unless they are stopped!
