Anyone driven to Hawkes Bay recently since the cyclone?

I'm going to start working weekends there and the company books us flights or we can drive. If I were to drive will there be a significant delay? they tend to book us hotels in Napier and we drive to the hospital in Hastings. Would leave Friday arvo and come back Sunday arvo.
