Post Body

First time Iā€™ve ever had a customer complain about my quality of work. This was on an interior railing project. Iā€™ve made plenty, although itā€™s not the type of work I typically like to do. This was a referral from a different customer who was obviously happy with all the work Iā€™ve done before. I donā€™t think my standards are below any others Iā€™ve seen, yet Iā€™m being asked to re-work a bunch of pieces. I literally feel sick. Iā€™ve got a backlog of work that needs to be completed. Anyone ever feel like just turning back a deposit and saying ā€œfuck itā€? 3 days of labor down the drain. I seriously wouldnā€™t care if this was my only job, but I seriously canā€™t find the extra days to deal with this headache and make someone happy. This whole job was maybe $4K and I was lucky to break even before this mess. Just frustrated. Hope someone here understands and can help me talk through it. I will probably end up just fixing it and making it work out of my own personal feelings towards getting something done. It just sucks and Iā€™m venting. Iā€™m so fucking pissed at being called out like I donā€™t care. I dunno. Just ranting nowā€¦ good luck out there, yā€™all.
