First time Iāve ever had a customer complain about my quality of work. This was on an interior railing project. Iāve made plenty, although itās not the type of work I typically like to do. This was a referral from a different customer who was obviously happy with all the work Iāve done before. I donāt think my standards are below any others Iāve seen, yet Iām being asked to re-work a bunch of pieces. I literally feel sick. Iāve got a backlog of work that needs to be completed. Anyone ever feel like just turning back a deposit and saying āfuck itā? 3 days of labor down the drain. I seriously wouldnāt care if this was my only job, but I seriously canāt find the extra days to deal with this headache and make someone happy. This whole job was maybe $4K and I was lucky to break even before this mess. Just frustrated. Hope someone here understands and can help me talk through it. I will probably end up just fixing it and making it work out of my own personal feelings towards getting something done. It just sucks and Iām venting. Iām so fucking pissed at being called out like I donāt care. I dunno. Just ranting nowā¦ good luck out there, yāall.
