Starting a job as a car repairman for the railroad. What should i be prepared for.?

Ok so ive been welding for about 6 years now. Ive worked in a fab shop that dealt with structural steel. Ive made nuclear waste containers. And ive worked for the biggest stainless steel pipe manufacturer in the U.S. but this is my first time working with the rail road. And i have no idea what to expect. Anyone have any ideas to help me out??
