Question for anyone using EZDrummer/Studio Drummer/Steven Slate etc...
Post Body

Since NI has it on sale and I wasn't entirely satisfied with the kits in Logic, I bought Studio Drummer and now I'm a bit overwhelmed. I've gone from only having a few variations of a snare to having a ridiculous amount of snare, tom, and cymbal variations and dynamics, so keyboard drumming just got way more complex. For anyone using these programs, do you still use a midi keyboard/pads for input (because the keyboard presets look insane)? I don't really want to rely on the premade patterns, so I'm interested in how everyone else handles it. I mostly write indie/rock-ish type stuff, if that helps for any suggestions.
