I am looking to buy my first automatic watch for christmas and i stumbled upon the digitary which i think will be perfect. It looks good, has a metal band, has day, date and even a 24 hour window which is pretty neat. My only issue might be that it's a bit too tall, and might go off my wrist, as i have fairly small ones and am not sure how it will fit. Also, with the extra dials, is it hard to set or not?
I also like the cosmos, but am again not too sure whether it will fit or not. It looks nice, has day and date, a textured dial. I was planning on putting it on a nato which i may still do, but you guys said it would look tacky so i'll withhold that idea for the moment.
I have opted against going with seiko5 as they have never really stood out to me incredibly, and they just dont click with me. With This watch it is different, still not perfect but it will probably make me appreciate timepieces more. If it had some actual dial decoration, like a pattern or texture then it would be ideal, something similar to This but i will have to compromise. As a side question, which do you think is better.
Can you tell me whether the dignitary or the cosmos watch wears well on a small wrist, if it looks nice, whether it's worth the money as a beginner. Anything that might help me consider buying it.
