Just like the title says… stop overriding coupons for entitled customers. I don’t care how much you hate Walgreens. All this does is create issues for the honest people who are trying to follow the correct policies. This is the reason i have people screaming in my face because i won’t override a coupon that another store or shift lead will. Yes i know Walgreens doesn’t care about us, yes i know the digital coupons are stupid, yes i know all of the BS that goes on but you aren’t “sticking it to Walgreens” by overriding coupons all you are doing is setting up the next person to be screamed at. If there is an actual legit issue with the coupon and it is valid, then of course there are exceptions… but i had a lady come in last night who just downright refuses to download the app and other stores/employees just override the coupons for her. This is against policy and your account WILL be flagged. If you don’t care about your job thats fine and totally understandable, i know Walgreens sucks… but at least have a sense of camaraderie for your fellow Wags employees who will have to deal with the consequences of your actions.
